Final Fantasy Xi – Wings Of The Goddess

Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess is the fourth major expansion for the long-running MMORPG Final Fantasy XI, set in the world of Vana’diel during the chaotic era of the Crystal War, nearly 20 years in the past. Players are pulled through mysterious Cavernous Maws into an alternate timeline where they must travel between the past and present to secure a brighter future, teaming up with the graceful dancer Lilisette and the enigmatic Cait Sith while serving the goddess Altana against dark forces led by the evil queen Lilith and her Spite Wardens. The expansion introduces two new playable jobs — Dancer and Scholar — along with the large-scale Campaign battle system, where you participate in massive Allied Forces operations against Beastmen armies, complete smaller Campaign Ops, and experience nation-specific storylines in San d’Oria, Bastok, and Windurst. It features time-travel mechanics, emotional storytelling with younger versions of familiar characters, new areas, and deep lore that many fans consider one of the strongest and most engaging narratives in the entire Final Fantasy XI series.
